I had the absolute pleasure of knowing Walter during my youth.
He introduced me to the Penny Black, stone age axes and fossils, butterfly collecting and the night sky, rock pools and freshly ploughed fields.
Family visits with Marie and Walter were always the most exciting of times.
In my eyes Walter was a Legend.
My heart and prayers go out to Marie, Christopher and Nicholas.
